Why Starlink in Mandaue City
Mandaue is Cebu's industrial heartland — dense factories, warehouses, and back-office support buildings along the South Reclamation Road, plus residential pockets in A.S. Fortuna, Subangdaku, Tipolo, and Cabancalan. The city has heavy fiber penetration in the industrial zones, but two real gaps remain. Small business tenants in older industrial buildings often share an under-provisioned commercial line, and residential streets just one or two blocks off the main arterials can wait months for new fiber connections. Starlink fills both gaps with same-week installs and dedicated bandwidth that doesn't share a building riser.
We're an authorized Starlink reseller serving the full Mandaue municipality. Installs in Mandaue lean heavily commercial — warehouses, small factories, BPO satellite offices, and church compounds — but we also do plenty of residential work. The Starlink V4 is our default recommendation; for heavy-use commercial sites we add mesh networking to extend coverage across larger floor plates.
A growing category of Mandaue install is the BPO satellite team. Several Cebu-headquartered outsourcing companies have moved overflow seats into Mandaue light-industrial conversions, and those teams need internet redundancy because a single fiber outage stops payroll and client-facing work. Starlink as a parallel-path backup, configured to fail over automatically, is the install we book most often for these clients.
Terrain & Fiber Gap
Mandaue is flat coastal industrial land with very few terrain obstructions. Line-of-sight to the satellite constellation is excellent from almost any rooftop in the city. The complication is the building stock: many industrial structures have metal roofing and HVAC equipment that we need to design around for the mount placement. We do a roof survey on every commercial install before quoting.
Fiber availability in Mandaue is good along the main arterials (A.S. Fortuna, M.C. Briones, the SRP corridor) but degrades quickly on residential side streets. We see this most in Cabancalan, Pakigne, and the older parts of Casuntingan, where homeowners describe weeks or months of "scheduled" fiber installs that never materialize.
Recommended Package
The Starlink V4 (₱35,500) is the default for Mandaue addresses. For warehouse and factory installs where you need to cover a large floor area, plan to pair it with a mesh network — we can quote the full setup or work with your IT team.
For temporary install sites (construction project offices, event setups), the Starlink Mini (₱31,999) is a good fit. Self-setup, portable, and powers from a USB-C source.
Install Notes
- Commercial roof access. Many Mandaue industrial buildings require coordination with the building manager and a safety briefing before we go on the roof. We can handle the paperwork side or work with your facilities team.
- HVAC interference. Industrial rooftops are crowded. We survey for line-of-sight before installing.
- Metal roofing. Where we can't penetrate the roof, we use weighted free-standing mounts or wall-mounted poles.
- Power. Several Mandaue industrial sites have unstable mains power. We recommend installing the dish on a UPS-backed circuit; we can spec one and source the unit during the install if you don't already have one onsite.
- Cable runs. Larger industrial buildings need long ethernet runs from roof to office floor. We use shielded outdoor-rated cable and document the run so future maintenance is straightforward.
Get Connected
Chat with us through the widget at the bottom right. We'll arrange a roof survey at your Mandaue site, confirm hardware needs, and schedule the install — most commercial sites are complete inside one working day. For multi-building industrial campuses, we can quote the full mesh-network buildout alongside the Starlink installation and coordinate the rollout in phases so production isn't interrupted. We work with on-site IT teams or, where there isn't one, we can recommend a local managed-services partner for ongoing support.
